With the project already close to the end of its development cycle, we were asked to take part in exploring some of environmental storytelling the player experiences throughout the game.

Overview

We were brought onto the production to design several of the locations in the game along with hero props and story moments. 

Process

As much of the groundwork was already laid, it was easy for us to integrate ourselves with the team. We were quickly introduced to several key moments where our visual input was needed.

Collaboration

Much of the production already had whiteboxed areas but needed the final finish and storytelling. We were happy to help apply the final touches to a fantastic game and it meant we would go to have a longer lasting relationship with the team at naughty dog.
