Unity is pushing the limit all the time, and for the FPS sample game Unity set out to create an amazing artistic world. We were part of the creation from the get go, supporting the team through VISION to get the best possible concept, as well as through the entire production specifying the main elements to go to 3d outsourcing.
We helped unity narrow down the scope of the world and sample part, doing a lot of explorative work. It was clear after this exploration that it needed more cartoony and stylised flavour, and during production this was implemented.
During production we assisted the Unity team in during all production concepts for environment modules, vegetation and main areas. All models were made in 3D mock up to be implemented and tested out in the actual sample game.
